Springfield USGI November 1949 M1 Garand 30-06 Barrel TE 2.5 MW 2

Description

For sale is a Springfield M1 Barrel dated nov of 1949...   It has a throat erosion of 2.5 and a muzzle wear measurement of 2 and perfect bore with excellent rifling.  A few small spots where the finish has worn off the barrel and there could be a few small rust spots on exterior, but overall finish is excellent. Genuine USGI with no import marks.
NOTE:  I am looking for a
june of 1945 Garand receiver to trade for barrels
. Prefer one with heavy wear to one with new parkerizing.  I have correct barrel and cartouched stock for that period and interested in building rifle. Also interested in
any other Garand receiver... prefer USGI of any age
but would consider foreign receiver as well.
On these barrels and in all photos I use a FULTON ARMORY combo gauge that has muzzle wear and throat erosion measurement capabilities in the one tool.  While i cannot guarantee your gauge will read the same as mine, this is a high quality tool and the measurements should be fairly close to other quality gauges.  IF, FOR ANY REASON, you are unsatisfied, i will be more than happy to accept the return, but PLEASE read condition and look over all photos before paying.... I do not charge any restocking fees, ever...  buyer will pay return shipping on returns UNLESS I MADE A MISTAKE IN THE LISTING, in which case I will happily pay return shipping (I do make mistakes according to my wife)...
As with any gun part that is necessary for correct functioning of a firearm,
you should have a gunsmith inspect, properly install, and headspace
before firing.
I recently purchased a large lot of M1 barrels... NONE of them are imports... save me as a favorite seller if you buy M1 Garand barrels for restorations, etc. I am still sorting and grading them.  I do have many USGI that will be good shooters ranging in dates from 1943 to 1955.  A very few from 1942 and the early 1960s.
