Description
Lot of Military items, from occupied Germany, both United States, and United Kingdom items. There is a typed note that reads: This "military-script" was acquired in Germany in 1947. It was issued to me to permit purchase of meals on the "Berlin Express" between Frankfurt and Berlin. The train was operated by the Armed Forces. There are three 5 cent, and two 10 cent, U.S. military script notes. A booklet, (printed in the United Kingdom), with information about Landing Conditions, Police Registration, Employment, Establishment In Business, Partnerships, Directorships, Etc., Food Rationing, National Registration, Currency, and Control Of Exports. This appears to be information for foreigners arriving in the U.K. There is, what looks like some sort of ticket, printed in what looks like German, dated Mar-47. These items were purchased together, at auction, guessing from an estate, and the typed note was from the original owner. Not an expert as far as origin, and purpose, of these items in this lot, so ask questions, and they will be answered as best as we can. Items are in pretty good condition, and do have historic value. Check out our other auctions for more old, and unique items. Items will be shipped USPS Priority Mail, insured, in protective plastic sleeves.
