    Description

    Norwegian M.1894 bayonet modified post WWII to fit the US M1 Carbine which was used by the Norwegian Army after the war.  Bayonet is marked OEWG and was made in Austria, also with an MP marking on the blade, #18798 on the cross guard, blued double edg blade, muzzle ring to fit the M1 Carbine on the cross guard.  The scabbard has most of the blue and has a web belt loop to fit on the American type pistol belt. These were done around 1956.  An unusual bayonet in excellent condition.
