Cosmetic Condition
The cabinet is in fairly good cosmetic condition. It has scuff marks, scratches, and general wear from use.
To note:
1. The cabinet has been modified slightly from its original specifications.
2. A timer for the UV light has been added to the front panel,
and there's an extra electrical cord that feeds into the alarm circuit. We are not certain why it was added.
3. The two cords on the back have insulation that has split open where they enter the cabinet, exposing the insulated wires inside. They're functional but could use some repair if a concern.
We have extra photos displayed below. Please scroll down to see more detail.
No other parts or accessories are included. Only that which is shown in the photos will ship.
Testing
We tested the cabinet by plugging it in and powering it on. The lights turn on properly, and both the UV and normal lamps are working. The timer that is installed seems to work fine, intended to power off the UV lamps when set.
With the blower switch enabled, the alarm triggers and dose not stop unless holding the reset button. In our attempts to diagnose why, we narrowed down the problem to either airflow or the pressure switch in the alarm circuit. This diagnosis is based on two conditions:
1. If we close the pressure switch path by jumping the GND and normally open wires, the reset switch position causes the motors to start and air to flow without further input.
2. Blowing into one of the tubes connected to the pitot tube inside the exhaust duct causes the alarm to stay silenced and motors to continue running.
These conditions seem to suggest insufficient exhaust airflow, which would indicate poor airflow through the filters. We think they may need replacement.
This is the full extent of the testing performed. Due to its condition, the
cabinet
is being sold as-is for parts or repair only. We can only guarantee that the condition is exactly as described.
