German boarder guard helmet

German boarder guard helmet , these were used for a very short period post war and there are a few variations, this is the earliest style. From what I have been told these used ww2 parts and a modified metal liner basket, the leather liner itself looks to be war era . Please do the research for yourself, you'll see later variants have no vents. Had a decal that was removed but you can see the outline where it once was. Bails are attached a little different as is the liner attachment from a ww2 style since no split pins are used. These are actually less common to find then war production helmets.
