    November 1952 in North Vietnam at Ten Yen, by the transfer of the 1/21 Colonial Infantry Regiment, recruited from Nungs.  In July 1954 relocated to Central Vietnam as part of the Groupement Nung.  The junk symbolizes the return of the Nung soldiers who were serving with the French Forces in China.
