The ESCO Laminar Flow Cabinet provides users with a clean bench and filtered horizontal laminar flow for an ISO class 3 work zone. The interior is a nominal 6’ of workspace, with a stainless, spill retaining work surface and a low operating noise level. Inside users will find electrical outlets to power equipment and bright illumination for the entire work area. Air passes through the disposable prefilter and then through HEPA filtration, and then into the main chamber in a unidirectional horizontal flow through the front of the cabinet. This Horizontal flow is slightly less turbulent than a vertical flow as the flow does not strike the surface. The exterior is a powder coat with a special antimicrobial isocide coating, that inhibits bacterial growth for added protection.

Please Note: This listing is for an unused demo laminar flow hood that’s been fully tested by our service team with a clean bill of health.  The unit has been deconned with a Hydrogen Peroxide method and existing HEPA filters have been checked out to be in good condition.  We ran a flow meter on the hood to ensure the blower motor is up to spec.  If buyers want new HEPA filters, they’re available for an additional cost.  If your hood validation service provider requires new filters in order to pass their validation, it’s the buyer’s responsibility to purchase them.
