The towel reads "The Study of Friction and Wear on Mating Surfaces".  This item was available in 2009 to raise funds for the Art Production Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to commissioning and producing public art projects. This beach towel measures 60 X 70 inches and has been sold out for a very long time.
