    Description

Up for sale is an antique manual used by the Revenue Cutter Service which pre-dates when it became a part of the Coast Guard.
The book is entitled Specification for Triple-Expansion Single Screw Propelling Engine with Boilers and Machinery for Revenue Cutter No. 16. (For service on the North Pacific Coast).
Published in Washington in 1906 at the Government Printing Office.
The book is 5 by 7 inches with 120 pages and only printed on one side.  All pages in tact.  A couple of pages are folded at the end (see photos) but otherwise in really nice shape for the age.
This book belonged to my husband's grandfather.   He was career Coast Guard and served on revenue cutters in Alaska.
Please email me with any questions and thanks for looking.
